Compliments
Positive feedback is always appreciated and serves as an important source of encouragement for our teachers and staff. We welcome constructive comments and expressions of satisfaction from both pupils and parents. This dialogue is ongoing and takes place in various forms, including annual questionnaires and informal conversations. While it may not always be possible to act immediately, we value your feedback and encourage you to share it openly, as it benefits the whole school community.

Informal Concerns
From time to time, parents may have concerns regarding aspects of their child’s education or welfare. These may relate to areas such as curriculum delivery, homework expectations, behaviour, or other school matters.

We encourage parents to raise any concerns they may have. Our staff are committed to clarifying school practices and policies and explaining how they support pupils’ learning and development. In most cases, concerns can be addressed effectively by the class teacher or, where appropriate, the relevant subject leader. Please do not hesitate to seek clarification; we are here to help, and your satisfaction is important to us.

In the first instance, we recommend speaking directly with your child’s class teacher. Please note that teaching staff are not available for face-to-face discussions during the school day while they are teaching. If you wish to speak with a member of staff, please contact the school office to arrange an appointment at a mutually convenient time. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and collaboratively. Should you feel that your concern has not been fully addressed, you are welcome to request a discussion with a member of the leadership team or complete a feedback/concern form. All concerns are taken seriously, and every effort is made to achieve a swift and satisfactory resolution.

Complaints
It is important to distinguish between a concern and a complaint. A concern is an expression of worry or uncertainty about an issue considered significant, for which reassurance or clarification is sought. A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction—whether about actions taken or not taken—requiring a formal response.

We aim to resolve complaints at the earliest possible stage, and many issues can be settled informally without the need for formal procedures. However, if you believe that a matter requires further action, please do not hesitate to initiate the school’s formal complaints process. For full details of our complaints policy, please click here.
